QUALITY / REQUIREMENTS BEFORE RELEASE

Quality starts with a clear drawing.

Define what matters to your assembly: material, revision, critical dimensions, welds, finish and inspection records. We agree the checks with your project requirements.

Checks that follow
the component.

A shared inspection scope is more useful than a general promise. Include the acceptance criteria in the RFQ so they can be reviewed before quotation.

Review stageWhat to definePossible record
Drawing & revisionPart number, current revision, datums and critical interfaces.Agreed drawing / inspection scope
MaterialGrade, thickness and documentation or traceability requirements.Material certificate where agreed
Dimensions & fitPanel envelope, diagonals, hole locations, hinge axes and mating features.Dimensional inspection report
WeldsJoint details, weld size, acceptance criteria and inspection extent.Welding inspection report where agreed
FinishPreparation, coating specification and protected interfaces.Supplier finish records where agreed
Release & packagingPart identification, quantities, protection and packing arrangement.Order-specific release documentation
DOCUMENTATION

Request the evidence your project needs.

Material certificates, dimensional reports and welding inspection reports can be requested. EN 10204 3.1 material documentation is available for applicable purchased materials, subject to order requirements and supplier records.

Magnetic particle testing capability is available; the part, method, acceptance standard and test extent must be agreed. Do not assume every component receives the same inspection.

Qualification scope matters

Our company has confirmed ISO 9001:2015 certification and welding/fabrication capabilities associated with ISO 3834, AWS D1.1, AS/NZS 1554.1 and AS/NZS 5131. Request current documents and confirm the applicable entity, process, personnel, material and project scope.

These references do not certify every trailer component or establish road-use approval, a load rating or a ramp safe working load. Product validation remains specific to the agreed design and supply scope.

For parts that must fit together.

Sidewall & floor interfaces

Identify common datums, flange geometry and the assembly sequence. Define any matched-set or sample fit-check requirement.

Tailgate interfaces

Specify hinge alignment, pin or bore fits, latch geometry and clearance requirements. Agree the inspection method before fabrication.

Ramps & critical supports

Provide design loads, support conditions and validation requirements. Load testing or engineering approval is included only when expressly agreed.

Let’s define your component package.

Send drawings, a bill of materials, quantities and delivery requirements. Tell us which parts you will assemble in-house.
